MCP & AI clients

Create videos from the assistant you already use.

Connect One Minute Explainer to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or another MCP-compatible client. Provide approved source material, create a narrated explainer, and track it without opening the web app for every request.

One focused flow

From approved source to finished explainer.

1

Connect once

Add the remote MCP endpoint to a compatible client and complete OAuth sign-in.

2

Provide the source

Give the assistant approved factual material such as release notes, docs, a help article, or your own text.

3

Create and track

The assistant uses one general creation action, then reads status and the finished result from the same conversation.

4

Share intentionally

Videos are private by default. Creating or revoking a public share link is a separate explicit action.

Available actions

One creation action, plus the controls around it.

The endpoint is general by design. Workflow names describe source and audience patterns; they are not separate APIs.

Questions

What to expect from the connection.

Do I need to open the One Minute Explainer website to create a video?

No. After connecting the authenticated MCP server, you can provide source material and request a video from a compatible client such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or another MCP client.

Does each workflow have a separate MCP endpoint?

No. One MCP endpoint exposes one general video-creation action. Changelog, release-note, docs, help-article, sales, and customer-education workflows are examples and optional routing templates handled by that action.

Are videos public by default?

No. Videos are private by default. A public share link must be created explicitly, and it can later be revoked explicitly.

What kind of source can I provide?

You can provide approved factual material from a URL, release note, documentation page, help article, product brief, sales note, onboarding guide, or pasted text, along with optional instructions about audience or emphasis.
